They were both evasive with answering questions. I thought Pence appeared far more sincere than Harris. Kamala is a fake. She was smug and indignant when she had her ass called out. People say Pence is worse than Trump...but Kamala Harris is 1000x worse than Joe Biden or almost anyone for that matter.

Pence looked like he was stoned with blood coming out of his eyes. Kamala struck me as more honest than Pence on every subject especially the poor economy and trying to compare covid to H1N1. The current administration raised my income taxes and my income is less than $400K per year. Kamala should have checked his lack of facts but she held back.

In the beginning, well before the DNC chose Biden I had thought that Harris was the obvious choice but she was ran off reasonably quickly. It's too bad she outshined Biden significantly.

Pence was cool calm and collected and in honesty a well qualified speaker. No doubt he will help Trump rebound in the polls.

I'm looking forward to the 2nd presidential debate, I'm hoping to hear more about gun laws and the 2nd amendment.

When did Kamala outshine Biden? I remember her going off on Biden at one of the primary debates but Biden won because he is more moderate. Listened to the same ole tax cut BS from Pence. Trump's so called tax cut resulted in an increase in the national debt. Trump and Pence are not fiscally conservative. People are already voting and most have already made up their minds. VP debates usually have little or no bearing on the election. Kamala held back as all she needed was a draw.

Pence calmly and smoothly lied every other sentence...Harris should have called him on it a lot more.

Harris didn't look as smooth or as prepared as I expected her to be.

Trump said this morning...via Twitter, shockingly...that if the next debate is virtual he won't participate in it.

It will be virtual, and he doesn't want to be embarrassed again. He has to do something to crawl out of the gutter in the polls, no one will care about last night's debate, and with Trump being a sick super-spreader and half of his Administration falling ill, too, he's not exactly instilling confidence in anyone but his Cult...who, as noted, don't care about anything he does or does not do.

Almost....I just don't think that "redeeming himself" is it.

He is just an narcissistic attention whore, in another debate he'll stand up and and bluster and fuss and complain about those that are mean to him, he won't give any better insight into to his plans, policies or ability to lead the country, he'll stutter I..I..I..I..me..me..me and he'll ramble and not make a lick of sense, hopefully Biden can hold himself together better and push trump all the way over the edge this time.
...and that will be a fun watch.
