Why are you only including "anti personnel assault weapons"? Do other firearms not kill? I'm pretty certain every single firearm in my safe can kill just as easily as the one sitting next to it, regardless of shape, form, color, caliber, etc.

Military assault weapon variants are the most efficient way for civilians to kill large numbers of people, in a short period of time.
Can other weapons be used, sure, but nothing comes close to putting large number of rounds down range, in a short period of time.
So why not remove the mass murders weapon of choice?
