I own a Diawa TD-X103HVLA baitcasting reel and I really like it. I like lefthanded reels better than right but my dad likes right handed reels. We were recently at Outdoor Emporium in Seattle and were looking at this reel. He asked the salesman to show him a right handed one. However, the right handed reel with the exact same model number is a completely different reel than the left hand version. They were shaped completely different and had the freespool buttons in completely different locations. Do any of you know why they do this? We didn't like the right handed model near as much as the left hand version.
