Fishing will be very different this fall, with most rivers having bumped and maintaining higher than normal levels for this time of year. More cooler than normal weather coming.

I personally enjoy this weather. Not a fan of either hot or even warm weather.
If it never got above 70 degrees here in the summer, I'd be a happy camper.

As soon as it hits 72 degrees I'm uncomfortably warm. 70 is fine but any warmer, nope.

Loving the prospect of an early fall. Always best for those of us mostly confined to terminal waters, as it gets fish upstream in time for the opener and spreads out the pressure. Plus... fall!

I moved up here from Sacramento where 90-100+ summers were normal. I was well adapted to the heat. First summer working here my coworker (a native born Seattelite) was basically useless when temperatures exceeded 70. It was funny. Then. Now, after 50 years I have lost some of my heat adaptation and find the hot afternoons not particularly comfortable. Plus, fall means deer and waterfowl.

Went down to a certain boat launch beach area to check on things Friday. One other guy fishing from the beach and lots of boats out on the water all the way from the ship wreck to the launch. Wind & rain really picked up around 10 am. Walking out ran into some guys I know pulling their boat in. They got limits on coho and let a king go. Sounds like the coho bite at least isn’t bad.
