Anyone have more info on how the Grande Ronde is doing this year? Are the fish up at Troy yet or still down at the Oasis?

Fish are througout the system. Things are slow lately (that's putting it mildly). I'll probably go tomorrow (because I have the time), but I am not holding my breath

There are steelhead above Troy well before the beginning of October. Not large numbers, but they are there. I personally wonder how many are hiding in the Snake (four or 5 huge holes below the mouth of the GR). I suspect with the water this low, they may have stopped coming up...who knows

Thanks Dino,
Born and raised in that area (south of the Oasis, down into Oregon country) and fished the GR growing up from Troy down to the state line, so I know just about every rock and bump in that thing, just don't get a chance to get there and do it but once every 3 months or so. Am now am a dual resident (WA and OR), thanks to the military, and get to fish both sides...am wondering how to get to the mouth of the GR where it meets the Snake.
