Forgive a newcomer to the sport, but where exactly are Reiter Ponds? I've been up and down Hwy 2 a few times, but never noticed the hatchery. Additionally, are there any landmarks to identify the 1000 ft downstream and 1500 feet upstream no-fishing zone? Thanks to all.

I can tell you how to find Reiter but its closed to fishing right now. Driving east on Hwy.2 look for Rieter Road on your left about 1 mile outside of Goldbar, if you cross the bridge you've gone to far. Turn onto Rieter Road and go 1/2 mile the road makes a sharp turn left don't take the turn but instead go stairght ahead onto another road. Follow this road until you get to the first paved road on your right turn onto this road and it will take you to the parking lot at Reiter Ponds.

Thanks for the directions - I usually fish the Tolt and Snoqualmie so I'm not familiar with the Sky. I understand the area below Reiter is still producing. Any thoughts?

Rob,

I was up there last weekend. Saw 10-12 people including myself. Didnt see any fish caught. River was very low and clear. THis rain may have helped somewhat. I think the brat run is a thing of the past. Might want to hit Cracker bar or Lewis Street in Monroe.

good luck...
