Saturday 2/17. Talking to a guy at the takeout, he was wading about 75 yards from his boat while his group and I went for turnaround rigs. He saw one vehicle enter the area and leave while he was fishing. When we all got back he's missing four spinning outfits and a satchel of miscellaneous gear. He says Late model white Ford with white canopy, aluminum driftboat with electric trolling motor.

Yea, this definitely bums me out. I worry about this type of thing when I'm on the Sky and the takeouts are in view of the road where your everyday hoodlums have access. But to think someone that was actually fishing the Hoh decided to rob another fisherman is disgusting. Especially from the sounds of the rig, the guy was'nt hurting for money.

Sorry to hear of your loss. I have had it happen to me a couple of years ago. I now use Road Runner Shuttle Service. $13.00 is better and cheaper than replacing all or part of your gear. Hope you get your tackle back.

His name is Ted Miller #360-374-5195 It's like $20 for the Hoh and $15 for the rest, but don't quote me on that. He's a heck of a nice guy, and a man of his word.

I personally have used Ted probally 20 times the guy is always there for you. In October he was doing 2 shuttles a day for me. He's easy to get a hold of (just call early in the am) and very friendly. He even came and picked me up once when I blew a tire on my truck, thats service.

Ted is the best. He runs shuttles on all the Forks rivers as well as shuttles for backpackers and hikers.
