Curious as to whether the selective fishery regs and triploid plants have yielded any decent fishin? While still water fishin is probably my least favorite (the worst day fishin is better than not fishin...)I'd love to here about these lakes if anyone has the info and would be kind enough to post it (or e-mail me)
Also anyone ever had any success w/browns in Cranberry Lake (D. Pass)?

Thanx,
Roger

There are only two methods that I've seen 'consitently' pull the browns from cranberry. the first and one I never do (I don't lake fish very often and when I do I never use bait) is to cast pink powerbait from either the dock on the east end or the large rocks by the camp ground. The second is to troll rapala's. Occasionaly one will get caught on fly paterns such as egg sucking leaches but not to many people fly fish there when pass lake is only a few miles away. As for the other lakes on the island most aren't to hot.

Lone Lake is probabally the most nutrient rich lake in Western WA, with the selective Regs in effect in will certainly grow large trout. I don't believe the triploid plants have been a big success so far, we will see what happens with those trout in the next few years.
