This rod is rated for 10-40lb., 2-8oz. but it actually feels much less. I just finished one today, its was intended for kings, but now I think it just might be a great steelhead stick. (There is now way in hell they can set the hook with an 8 oz. sinker on this rod.) What you think?

That rod has a ton of backbone, it can easily stick a king W/8 oz. lead. It seems to be the rod of choice for moochers in Sitka for Kings. Their really isn't that much difference between the STR1265 and the SAR1265, both are a little big for my taste.
