Went fishing on tuesday nothing but small trout. THe best part was how clean the canyon was. I would personaly like to thank everyone that had cleaned up the canyon area the previous week.

Spoonman glad to hear you had a good time. Every little bit helps. To bad you could not get in to something a bit bigger than a trout. Summer steelies are in and alot of smolt also. Springers are starting to show also #4 bule fox have been working for me.

Spoonman,

Glad to hear you enjoyed the canyon. We had a real good turnout at our last pick-up. One great thing, we didn't even have to go down and pick up trash along the river in the canyon, someone, or some others, had already done a good police job down there. That was sure good to see. We did get about 12 good bags elsewhere, so the results appear that much better.

I don't know for sure, but I can't remember the last time anyone posted about how clean a river was, rather than how nasty. I know that everyone who picks up down there, whether organized or individually, will be heartened by your note. Just goes to show, when people care enough to do something about the trash, that effort can pay off.

Thanks to everyone who cares enough to pack some out and thanks for your post! Tad

I fished the conyon a lil the last 2 weekends. I am still figuring out how and where to find the fish. got one nice nate steelie the first trip. From all the reading I had done about the canyon and I was pleased with how clean it was. I expected to see something other than what I did. thanks guys. I will try and make one of the clean ups next time. I am also looking for some help or hints for fishing the canyon. if you feel like it my e-mail is dcrzfitter@aol.com. thanks and see you on the river
