brshooter Alevin Registered: 04/02/01 Posts: 12 Loc: Aloha, OR	Got my new boat today. Heading out to play this Sunday and Monday. I have a question about sea anchors. How long of a line should I have on them? Is one of the large sea anchors (from fisherman's marine) sufficient for a 19' boat in most cases? Or should I plan on having a pair of them? _________________________ Bill

Anonymous Unregistered	They don't need to be out very far. I do recommend having 2 available. If you are anchored and a strong 'wester' blows up the Columbia it will turn an anchored boat sideways, or even around if the current is weak and the wind strong. Then you want 2 large ones out. RT
