Check this out ,hooked a nice 3 salt brat in the crescent drift on the Bogie fishing plugs. Fought the fish for about 5 minutes got it up next to the boat and the knot on the plug came untied and the fish swam away right at the boat, bummer your thinkin right. Well we fish for about another 20 minutes there and then slide down to the ice box hole. We'd been there for about an hour when I see this fish floating about a foot or so under the water as it goes by. Pulled anchor rowed down stream caught up to the fish and netted it,guess what my fish!!!! Plug had hooked fish in the top and bottom of it's mouth and it must have sufficated, longest no fight battle I can recall while still getting the fish. :p :p

Good stories - keep 'em coming. ... As for the true or false part, it seems to me most are true. My shark story up above is absolutely true; everything in it! As for 'Yalls story everything in it seems very likely rolleyes , but I still know it's false simply because he can't catch fish - muh ha ha ha ha ha laugh . ... Randy, I think your story is true.
