I think theres alot of people in other areas who would join in on this if they had a meeting more south. Couldent there be chapters and such were other areas could join in also? Kind of like the Puget Sound Anglers. I know it dosent limit people to join and send money but there alot of voices that probably have good ideas who never get heard. I can easily send money but living in Port Orchard I wont drive to North Seattle to go to a meeting at 7 pm. I know it would probably get even more money if the people could join in and be apart of it all. Some people wont send money if they cant partisapate. I know all they have to do is go to the meeting but 7:00 pm on a work night with a 2 to 3 hour drive (both ways)is alot for some. Myself included. Anyway maybe your working on this. Its just a thought. I know if I had a meeting closer It would be a priority to go to something of such a worthy cause. Thanks,

Bob D

Bob D, Thanks for the input. Has the WSC grows we will certainly be looking at ways to further engage the membership. Right now our focus is on developing the WSC into a operating organization, gather a strong membership and implement the WSC action plan. One idea we are currently looking at that thouches on your idea is developing regional representitives that can support the WSC from respective locations.

The WSC has only been in existence for five months and has been operating exclusively on membership dues for seed money to get it started. Joining the WSC is extremely important now, not only from a numbers stand point, but also from a operating stand point so we have the opportunity to expand in other areas.

See you there Rich . As I see it either we are part of the solution or part of the problem. If you haven't joined because you don't think you have at least put your money to work.
