I will be in the Richland-Kennewick area the second week of May and would like to "hook-up" with a good fishing guide within a 60 mile radius.(Columbia/Snake, maybe John Day River)
Any recommendations for guides?

Thank you

You might give Mike Kelly at Hell's Angler Guide Service 360-269-7628 a call. He lives up by the Snake River. I'm sure he is following the fish up the river. I would call soon because he might be booked up. He will put you into some fish. If he is booked he should be able to hook you up with someone in the area. Good Luck!

Phil Motyka of Motyka sporting goods(Richland) used to guide, I don't know if he guides springers, but he guides Fall chinook, steelhead, sturgeon, etc.

A good guide in that area is Jeff Johansen(spelling?) He does fall chinook, steelhead, and sturgeon. I am sure he does springers. Motyka would have his number. Hope this helps.

Try Phils Sporting Goods out of Pasco, (509) 547-9084. They have a list of good guides.
Good luck! laugh wink
