Has anyone been fishing at High rocks with bobbers yet? That use to be the go to spot when the springers were in. The shrimp and egg combo was the ticket. ....Fishhead Vic

April was better for an excellant return of early summers Vic. But there has been a decent amount of springers gone up also. With the rain raised river bringing in more fish and providing good water conditions as the May peak is almost upon us, and it drops and clears, the fishing should get good along most of the Clack - incuding High Rocks. Same for the Sandy R. this weekend and onward. High Rocks 'rocks' best when the level is below 3' (13' on the Estacada guage), and even better when they start stacking there this month when the level gets down into the low 2's. I wouldn't wait for that though, get after it now! Good luck.
