HELP WANTED.....Just checked the 99, 2000, and current year forums.
Lot's of suggestions on jig colors, how to fish jigs, where to buy jigs, jig floats, jig rods, and jig reels.

Need to buy, make, get, steal, "whatever", a "holder" for jigs. Something that can be carried in a vest and would hold 40+ 1/16, 1/8, 1/4, ozs. jigs made with different materials.

Have checked in Cabelas, BassPro, SportCo,
nothing.....Have seen guys open up their "boxes" filled with jigs, so know they make them. Ideas, please???????

DRIFTER- A regular fly box is what i use and everyone else i see fishing jigs uses. Mine is aprox. 8 inches long and 4 wide. It holds well over 40 jigs. Cabelas does have some. If you look on there website go to fly fishing then go to accessories you should find something there.

Try looking at Wal-Mart in the sporting goods section. Some Wal-Marts stores carry them and other don't. They usally have the large boxes in the fly tieing section and they also carry a smaller version about 3x4 inches in the takcle area. I like using the small ones best because you can carry them in your pocket. I usally carry my other jig (large jig boxes) in my car and only carry what jigs I think that I will be using that day.

Flambeau makes a great single sided fly box that has a clear lid which is great when you are fumbling around trying to find that perfect jig. Inovative Anglers also makes a great waterproof box with a clear lid and is very deep, which is also important for holding a variety of sizes of jigs.

Finsport has a great 3x4" soft box that is vented, and has a clip for attaching to anything. You can put the jigs that have been recently used in it to dry out before placing back into the jig box.

I would highly recommend using a single sided fly box to keep colors, especially marabou, from bleeding on to one another.Nothing worse than opening a box full of jigs to find out that you have a box full of 40 ugly pale pink colors that have all become one.

Hope this helps.

I've got this soft-sided wallet-type thing that is great. Can't remember the manufaturer off the top of my head. It looks like it was probably made to be a leader wallet.
