Hey, just found this site. Been looking for a NW fishing board glad I finally stummbled in.
My fishing consists from swinging a fly for a steelhead or pulling plugs for em, whatever it takes. I enjoy to float the Yak as often as I can(love to slap a hopper on the water) Just spent 5 days at a great flyfishing only lake on the east side.
My sound fishing usually originates out of Birch Bay (salmon, halibut, lings, shrimp, crab)
Just moved to the NW part of the state. Gotta float the Nooksack a few times last winter with some limited success, looking forward to it opening back up on the 1st. Can hardly wait for the humpies this year, and I hear the silvers can be pretty fun in that river.
Glad I found the site, and look forward to visiting it now and again.

Drifboater-Nook can be a good river in the fall. Its one of those that can milk up if you spit in it though.
