I don't know who the guide is that has the big aqua green boat, that looks like a billboard. But next time you run over the top of our baits and then flip us off, I won't have an 80 year old with me. We will have a chat. I Think you must be related to the O'Neals.

Did you read the big letters on the side of the boat this should tell you who runs the boat. Have seen it tied up on the side between the island ramp and the golf course on the right as you go up stream. Never seen the sled running. Hope you do not any more ether.

That sound like Dan Ross' boat. Dan and his wife Susie live on the North Fork right across from the Island Ramp. Dan is a fine fisherman and is very courteous on the river. I have known him for 20 years, and have never known him to be any less. Perhaps he had a rough day, or simply screwed up. I know that I have done that accidently at times as well.

Well, flippin us off wasn't on accident. I usally don't get so upset because accidents do happen. But he ran right over the top of our lines, Tom pointed for him to get over to the side. He gave us the big glare and then the finger. Talked to a couple of other boats and bank fishermen. All had the same opinion of him and it wasn't very good.

I think Dan Ross is in AK. He has allways been very nice on the river to me also.

Next time you go out there you will have to take your kid along I can move alot faster then tom and besides when the fishin slows we will have some thing esle to do

It's probably Dan Ross but it doesn't sound like him. Generally he is pretty curteous and stays out of trouble. I saw him a few times at the mouth of Wind this year his actions were better than the other guides.

It is Dan Ross. He has been fishing the river and has been getting a bit frustrated. We've been spanking his ass lately fishing. I know he is a nice guy and give him a lot of respect but he certainly does not own the river, like he beleives he does. Such a sad act though.

Hate to sound like some type of Dahli Lama that is at peace with the world. What you described (fishead5) is a common occurence on many of the rivers I fish in the Midwest. While I agree that it is uncalled for , and is total horsesh*t, there isn't much you can do. Mark it up to the fact, that the guy was a jerk, and get on with it. Until you own a rvier (impossible) it is impossible to control the way that other people treat you. What really burns em, is giving them a great big smile and say "Thanks for being so courteous", then ignore them.

There are people that fist fight , and hook other people with spoons (intentionally) on one metro river I fish, and I finally just left and started fishing somewhere else. Probably not the answer you're looking for, but I say ignore him. If he was with clients, I'm sure they felt pretty uncomfortable, and probably won't be booking another trip any time soon. Peace
