For those of you who, while fishing with a buddy on a favorite body of water, would like to radio back and forth without yelling like an idiot...Office Depot Salem had three left of the Cobra FRS-115 2-way radio showing in their computers. Their SKU number is 624581. Regular price was $50 each but they are now clearancing out for $10 each, and there is a $10 rebate here . Limit three rebates per household, so you are covered.

These were the last three units showing in Oregon, but there might be some in Washington/Idaho. Don't call ahead, as the clerks make it a habit of saying "No, we have none" as they put them on hold for themselves.

Thanks for the info Fobbman. I'm sure they'll be sold out when I head through the valley on my fishing vacation next week. I'll bring my Sony Talk About 250's. My wife picked up 3 for $35 on line about a year and half ago. 2 were Xmas presents (for her parents)and she kept one. Had to pay full price $70 for one at Office Depot at Delta Park. Great when traveling with two seperate rigs, at large events with lots of people (hydro races, Disneyworld/land), and on the river.

There is also a rumor flying around that K-Mart will match anyone prices and they carry these radios. As soon as I pay for mine I will see if I can land another two over there. If it works, I'll scan my receipt and make it available for anyone who wants it.
