Does any one know if the shad fishing is still decent up at Bonneville dam? Is it still worth going?

With only 14,000 going over yesterday, I doubt it's any good anymore up there. I think the run's pretty much over for this year, and I never even got the chance to go up there.

WAS AT THE RACK TUESDAY - FRIDAY LAST WEEK AND SLAYED THEM EVERY DAY,, ON FRIDAY THERE WAS ABOUT 20 BOATS THERE. WITH MY BOAT BEING THE HOT ONE FOR REASONS UNKNOWN(THANKYOU FISH GOD). TWO GUIDE BOATS LOADED WITH CLIENTS WE'RE HAVE "0" LUCK DAY, WE GAVE ONE BOAT 7 AND THE OTHER 6 SHAD SO THEY COULD TAKE THEIR PARTY'S STURGEON FISHING. THINGS COULDN'T HAVE BEEN BETTER "UNTIL" TWO DUMB $HITS IN THERE DADS BOAT(so it appeared) cut my anchor rope. SET ME A DRIFT RIGHT IN TO TWO OTHER GUYS. PURE HELL FOR ABOUT 30 SEC. IF IT WEREN'T FOR HAVING MY THREE YOUNG BOYS IN MY BOAT IN THINK LEAD BALLS WOULD HAVE FLOWN OR AT LEAST I WOULD HAVE TAKEN THEIR ANCHOR AND THEY COULD HAVE EXPLAINED TO THEIR DAD WHAT HAPPENED TO HIS $100 ANCHOR,, BUT INSTEAD I TOLD MY BOYS THATS LIFE AND WE HAD TO SUCK IT UP..
