I have never fished this lake, but I am thinking about trying sometime in August. How is the steelhead fishing then? We have two downriggers on our boat, but I was wondering what lures are used. Also, is there a boat dock there? Thanks

jtl85, as far as docks at Drano your outta luck. Prepare for rocks and concrete! Don't think I've ever been there when the wind is blowing in the right direction for launching or loading and it always seams to kick up when doing ether. As far as lures this year somebody might help you out on this one. Keep away from the (east) highway side of the lake... Them old damn water logged stumps are hell to land. Seen some boats produce some nice fish jiggin tied off under the bridge. If ya catch a down rigger ball around the rocky point it's mine.... lol...

SnagMagnet, by any chance did you lose that downrigger ball during this years springer run there? I seen someone with a smaller boat east of the bridge trying to free something over in that area around the beginning of May.
