O.K. I've rounded up a pole a reel some line now I'm going to need some tackle. My buddy in Seattle has agreed to buy the tackle and I've got he and his wife enthused about fishing so he has decided he wants to buy a pole and gear for himself. We'll be mooching so I'll need to know what gear he needs to buy for that. He lives in Issaqua and his boat is moored in some Marina near Bellvue. He was wondering where to buy the gear and get some fishing tips. Any Ideas? I'll email him as soon as I can figure out where to send him. I appreciate all your help so far and I'm getting more excited every day to catch a fish. We'll be on the west end of the San Juans if that makes a difference on gear.

I have no idea of how close your buddy lives to Lynwood. If it was me, I would send him to Teds'. Nothin but good experiences for me. The guys are great, and are fishin freaks. Good luck, and have fun on your trip.

No brainer - send him down to Outdoor Emporium. They are on Pontius in Seattle. Best prices and reasonable knowledge. Good inventory to.
Another option is Sportees in Redmond. Over priced and less knowledge available but if time is an issue, they may work out for him.
