The Church hole on the Columbia? It's just upstream from Chinook, you'll see the little church on the Washington side of the river. Definitely a productive spot, and less boats there than you'll see either by the bridge or out by the buoy line.

That used to be a pretty good gator hole also - if your in a boat you should see the bankies fishing for the gators. it is not too far downstream from the bridge.

I hope to head down there to fish for salmon in the middle of August. A guy I talked with while fishing up by Kalama a few months ago recommended that I give it a try.
