Hey Paul, haven't seen you on the board in a while.
Yeah, I was fishin the N.F. as I do almost everyday lately, it's my home river.
My target! Nice, scrappin, fat little summeruns.
My choice of lure, spoons. Either a canadian wonder or a little chrome steelie.
From opening day til present I have had an unbelievibly hard time trying to keep those damn, pesky, slimmy, uninhibited, selfish HATCHERY RAISED, UNCLIPPED, no account, exselsior and deadhorse creek rearing pond raised chinook off of my little, harmless, non chinook targeting spoons.
And the picture gets worse, wouldn't you know it but dolly/bulltrout are hitting them too! And oh my god, what the hell do you think happened yesturday, a freakin humpy hit it also. Then, when I thought my outings on the river I enjoy so much were becoming way to humiliating for a guy who is holier than anybody but thou, what do you think happened next?, I hit a summerun on my lil shinny spoon. This all seems perfectly normal to the AVERAGE fisherman but not to guys like you and I who withold the highest of standards. See, all of these fish are closed to retension, but not the beautiful lil HATCHERY SUMMERUN that does not exist in the nooksack. Hooked one in my life about two months ago. So, when you go out on the salt this summer and release countless HATCHERY RAISED, UNCLIPPED, cohoe and chinook just remember my miserable ass doing the same, only a little closer to home.

HEAR YEE, HEAR YEE.
I tkink what your trying to tell us paul is that if the ratio of natives caught is more than hatcheries caught we had better damn well put that pole down now.
SOUNDS LIKE YOU OWE PETA A LIL MONEY
