A draft agenda for the Sept 22 "Biological and Policy Aspects of Steelhead Management Symposium" was distributed at last week's WDFW Steelhead and Cutthroat advisory panel meeting. The latest draft plan follows.

Fish management professionals from the PNW and invited guests will give presentation on several steelhead management topics.
Topics to be covered will be:

1. Hooking mortality of wild steelhead
2. Escapement objectives of wild steelhead
3. Harvest objectives of wild steelhead

7:30 am -- registration
8 am - Welcome
8:15-9:45am Hooking Mortality
9:45-10:00am Break
10am-12:30pm Escapement Objectives
12:30pm-1:30pm Lunch (on your own)
1:30-4pm Harvest Objectives
4-4:15pm Break
4:15pm-4:45pm Tribal Steelhead Management policies

4:45-5:50 Discussion and Summary
7-10pm Commission hosted dinner

The forum will give speakers the opportunity to give background and their perspecitve on the subject area and participate in panel discussions.

The public will have the opportunity to ask questions.

It is not necessary to preregister, but would be appreciated.
