Fisherman's Heaven will air 13 new shows this fall including coho mayhem on the Kasilof w/ Bob Ball. Sundays at 4 PM on KVOS TV-12 starting September 2 (and also on in Alaska and the Vision Channel (East Coast)). By the way, Rob Endsley (Robbo on this board) is now part of the Fisherman's Heaven team - finally someone on our team who actually knows how to fish!

Other shows include:
Hawaii Billfish Tournament
Los Barriles (Mexico) billfish, tuna & dorado
Skykomish chum, coho, and pinks
Lake Washington cutthroat
Lake Sammamish chinook
Sauk/Skagit dollies and steelhead
Stillaguamish River sturgeon
Columbia River sturgeon (5 over 10-feet)
Montana flyfishing for cutts, bows and browns
Kenai River kings

Thanks!

Good move to have Bob on a show, hammering AK fish. Congrats. ...

Is there a way to see the show in Oregon?

It all boils down to this - I'm right, everyone else is wrong, and anyone who disputes this is clearly a dumbfuck.

Kevin,

Good news, but could you call AT&T Cable and tell their dumb a$$es that the residents of the Pacific NW simply DO NOT want to watch shows where some goober is landing 4 lb. bass on 25 lb. test and calling each fish (or anything else close by) "Son!". If shows like yours exist, and I know they do, then THAT'S what they should be showing on Sunday afternoons, not crappie fishing. No offense to crappie or bass, but that's not what we fish for here.

I understand it's up to the viewers to make their opinion known, but maybe if you posted emails addys. for those who need to hear it, I'd be glad to redirect my input their way. I just don't have time to track the "proper" people down, but maybe you already have a list of contacts at TV stations/cable providers?

KVOS, huh? Any cable providers in Washington carry that station?

Dan S.

I have a demographic sheet from KVOS in front of me and it looks like they reach almost 3 million homes in NW Washington - about half of those in King County. Not sure what cable systems that includes, but I know that AT&T doesn't carry it. Feel free to request more info from KVOS at studio12@kvos.com

The reason more stations don't carry local programming is because it doesn't make enough money for them. They can get more money playing infomercials of Ron Popeil's slicers and dicers (and hair spray paint for those pesky bald spots). They just plug in a tape, accept a check and let er' play. A kind note to KVOS (studio12@kvos.com) thanking them for supporting local outdoor programming certainly wouldn't hurt our cause!!!!!!!

Also - if you have internet access, Real Player, and a 56K modem (or faster), you can see our shows on the Vision Channel's website (www.kvnlive.com) three times per week (the schedule is on their website but I can't remember what timezone their schedule is based on).

We'll keep trying to get on more stations (we're working on it constantly).

Thanks for the interest.
