Floated the north fork toutle about 3-4 weeks ago when it was about 400cfs. float was only about 5-6 miles good drift though. When will the silvers start to show. Reason for floating it was to figure it out so I can take the family and interecpt those brite beauties before they get to the Green and the hoards of people. Wife and Daughter love to fish but wouldn't subject them to the green debacitacle.. Any info would be good. Thanks... laugh laugh laugh

Yarf'em,

The Toutle is still pretty ugly! Was down at the mouth of the Toutle and the Cowlitz yesterday and the Toutle only had about 6 inches of visibility. frown A shot of chinook and a few silvers shot up the Toutle the day before, but I don't know when it will be fishable again. smile

We are forecasted to get more rain on Monday, and if that happens the Toutle will be out for another week or two or longer. frown

Before you bring down your family and your float boat down, check out the conditions first. If the Toutle goes out again, it may not be fishable the rest of the year!

Hope this helps you.
