My family and I got back from another successful trip to Sekiu. Total fish brought to the boat was 54 in two days. Only 1 king, 4 pinks, and the rest were silvers. We had a total of 8 fishing out of the boat on Saturday, two shifts of 4, but everyone still caught limits. Sunday we had 4 as some folks left early. Plug cut herring trolled with a 3 oz sinker was all we did.

We got one 15.8 pound hooknose (mine laugh laugh laugh ), a 12.7, four in the 10 pound range, six 8's, and the rest were 6 pounds (our lower limit). I weighed a 17.9 pounder for a guy at the fish cleaning station. These big guys just tear that line off of your reel!

I am headed up for one more trip, probably next weekend, and I am going alone, so Spike and Headhunter, this is your chance. I will fish for the big guys, so all of the little guys get thrown back. Respond quickly, because I may fill the spots with other interested fishers. Let me know.

The eggs are getting bigger, so I cured 3 pounds last night. I will be able to collect some more next weekend as well.

Andy
