I threw out my back a few weeks ago so haven't done much fishing. Is anybody targeting/catching steelhead these days? I don't have a boat and I don't like combat fishing, so salmon's not my thing, for better or worse. I'm thinking about chasing some steelies as soon as my back cooperates. Anyone else doing the same?

Yeah, fishin's been pretty good. Especially after the rain a week ago. In fact, I'm catching alot of flack from my buddies about not targeting more salmon. But hey, if the wheel ain't broke don't fix it!

P.S. I am doing enough salmon fishing though to keep myself in eggs.
