I am heading out with the USAR(urban search and rescue) team to help with rescue and body recovery at the Trade Center. I am ready physically. I can only hope I am ready mentally to deal with the digging out of my fellow firefighters. When things get tough, as I know that they will, I will think think of this board and some of the bickering that has gone on in the past. That should be worth a chuckle or two. I should be gone a week or so. Save me a couple of bright ones will ya? Tight lines.....Hey Highliner sorry bud! I sure would have enjoyed the trip! Mabey in October?

I'll wish you more than luck! I applaud you and your comrades for your courage in helping to protect us at any given time. And especially for this toughest of tasks that you face. I humbly offer to take you fishing, all expenses on me, when you return from your needed mission.

I'll pitch in with an all-expenses-paid fishing/crabbing trip on the salt when you get back.

This goes for anybody else heading east to help out. I frankly feel kind of useless, as excepting blood donation, I don't have any relevant search&rescue or medical skills.

I dont think you'll ever have trouble finding a fishing partner on this board! Any time you wanna head up to the Penninsula, email. Thank you for what you do. Be safe.

Thanks my brother, I am from New Jersey and this has affected many of people I hold dear to me(and everyone else for that matter). Anytime you want to go fishing anywhere you are more than welcome on my boat or in my car. God speed, and as another said may you never be skunked again.
take care
