I get so confused by everyone that I don't know what is right and wrong. I fished the meathole yesterday until dark. When I left people were starting to bring out the lanterns. If I am correct on my regs there is a night closure from apr 1 -oct 31 upstream of johnson creek. On all my reading this is what I have found. Someone PLEASE correct me if I'm wrong. I want to know the rules! I know I am probably wrong by the numbers of people that were fishing from both sides of the river and boats. Unless they are the ones poaching, then I should notify the gamies.

I'm also frustrated on the fact of keeping cohos. I see people keeping wild coho. What is up with that? I thought all wild coho had to be released? I just don't want to be the person being ticketed for not knowing the regs.

Keeping WILD silvers is ILLEGAL on the North Fork Lewis!

Fishing at night (one hour after official sunset to one hour before official sunrise) is ILLEGAL on the North Fork Lewis (unless they've had an emergency regulation change-haven't heard of that yet). Turn the d*ckholes in!

The official fishing time would be 5:45am to 8:25 pm, correct? There were so many people night fishing that if one person got ticketed all the others would escape under dark. Some people didn't even put their boats in until dusk and went straight over to blood rock and fished. How should this situation be handled?
