I was drinking with an acquaintance last evening. He is a veteran of the war in Viet Nam. He suggested that we drop millions of Rattlesnakes in Afganistan. This seems like such a beautiful idea I just had to share.

I can see many unemployed Americans gathering snakes for this effort.

He had a another idea that I thought was pretty clever. He suggested flying over Kabul, treetop level at supersonic speed. The resulting shock wave would be sure to deafin many of our enemy. It would also shatter what windows they have left resulting in many dying of exposure this winter.

Not too sure on the snook idea. Don't really see how you get the parachutes on the rattle snook. Not a job I'd want! wink

As for the other idea? Why risk some pilots life when a 15,000 lb Daisy Cutter or FAE (fuel air explosive) bomb will do the trick quite nicely.

Personally, I think we should fly a B-2 Stealth Bomber over the city and have it drop leaflets. If you've ever heard or seen this big black bird, it makes the hair on your body stand up and will certainly give you goose bumbs. Just have the leaflets read:

"If you're reading this, it's too late"

That ought to put the fear of Alah in them!

Heh. After posting, I've come up with more leaflet ideas:

"Boom!"
"Have a nice day." and include the picture of the smiley face with a bullet hole in it's head.
"1 billion US Dollar bounty for Bin Laden's Head" Of course we don't actually give them the 1 billion dollars! Suckers!
"Just testing."
"This is just a test. Had this been a real nuclear weapon, you'd be a nothing more than a shadow by now."
"You have now have 60 minutes to make peace with your God."

I don't particlarly agree with the snake idea, but the leaflet method gets my vote. It is just a bit more warm and fuzzy and I wouldn't want to see any innocent person hurt. (I know it may be a bit late for that)

I particularly like the leaflet that says "this has been a test of the nuclear broadcast system.....". Maybe that would be enough incentive to the non-Taliban to stage an uprising. We used leaflets in the gulf war, and those Iraqi soldiers were surrendering to pilotless drone aircraft.

Parker --- Them goose bumbs are almost as deadly as the rattle snooks.

Take a look at the flag I just posted to the photo album. It might work for a parachute!

Well the old neoprenes do seem to exhibit a slight cloud of unknown toxic odors rolleyes . Labrador retriever used to sleep on them in the back of the truck but now just whimpers and whines when I tell him to jump in back rolleyes .
