I have a set of 9'cataract composite oars. I need to have the rope wrap cover a bigger area-further down the shaft. I have never re-wrapped a set of oars so I don't know exactly how. I was also thinking of sending them to cataract for a factory wrap. Does anyone around here do this sort of work? I have heard that it is like wrapping a rod. I just want them the way I have my Sawyers set up from Willie. Thanks.

Dude if you've got real bad caracts then what you are looking for are CANE wraps. Although I never figured that swinging that cane back and forth would cause bisters...
