Everyone should be on a river somewhere looking for Brats when this water drops. If your not your wrong. Take a day off work, call in sick whatever. If you dont you might miss the best day fishing in the past few years.

Ive been fishing the past couple days even though the river is totally puked. Today is way too far gone but yesterday I went three for six, all chromers. It was puked and muddy with zero vis but the fish are on their way. I dont care what river your near cause they are all gonna get their first substantial push of brats. So far its looking good.

Mud or not I'm back on the water! If mud then I'm hittin clear running creek mouths on zipperlip rivers. Big spin-glo and eggs gets them everytime. Oops did I just pass on a oldtimer zipperlip method for blown river steelie fishing to the rookies? Might even try the worm. If the rivers drop then I'm still on the same zipperlip rivers....should be glorious! Gooose is back and fishin! Hooyah!
