Thanks for sharing that. Only problem (for me anyhow) is that I'm right handed.... How many guys do you see cast right handed, then switch the rod over to their left hand so they can reel with the right? I cast with my right, and hold the stick with my right-I'm right handed. But I reel with the left hand. How many guys will have a baitcaster with the handle on the right side, but use a spinning reel with the handle on the left? Ever watch the guys on the bass fishin circuit switch hands? Doesn't make sense to me. Just another one of my silly a$$ opinions. And most of you know that an opinion is just like an a$$hole, everyone has one! :p

Oh my! Oh my! Do they bring back some memories!!! My kids (7) and I went through at lease half that many. We would take out the cog and make them direct drive. Alot of good memories. We did put those reels through the test. (Abu won out)

any guesses as to the final price? I guess $1200

Fish4steel I've always been a "hold the rod with my right hand, reel with my left" kind of guy. With everything (fly rods, baitcasters, spinning reels). I never understood why people would want to keep switching around with their hands when they get a fish on. I can't pry on the fish as well with my left hand either .
