Really sorry to hear about your partner passin. In my mind...he's where there's no crowds, no litter, no snaggers, no discourteous people, no hang ups, the fish are always chrome and his hooks always sharp. My father probably just made room for him on the bank and they're talkin about us and what the fish are bitin on.
All appreciate what you have and fish the lives you have.
Peace

Sorry that your fishing partner passed away River Rat. Its really nice that you and your wife took care of him when he needed you. I'm going to be with my dad, next week, when he goes in to have some cancerous skin tumors removed.

Glad you two were there to take care of him River Rat. I went thru that with my mother and then my father-in-law, in both cases right up until they passed. It's very tough. Modern medicine has come a long ways, yet has so far to go. Peace.

River Rat, My sympathies, your friend replaced someone who was on the river before him, and someone will fill his now empty spot on the river as well. It's the fond memories that you share of those days together that will keep him alive in your hearts. I've always said that when I pass over the river Jordan, there had better be steelhead and salmon in it, cause if there isn't any fishing in heaven then there isn't any heaven! or, your in the other place. I hope he is enjoying the best fishing ever!
