What is the length of leader you all use when running bait behind a Hot N Tot? I'll be trying this in the Clack if that helps. Do people employ this method for steelhead?

Yes For Steelhead. 4 to 5 feet is what I like. I tend to stay at the 5 foot mark a lot more. I'm not exactly sure why? Don't forget to paint those Hot-n-tots black as the fish will sometimes bite it and not the bait. Also if you are using whole sand shrimp make sure they don't spin in the current you want them to lay flat and straight.

My 2 cents. remeber how much you paid for this info. That may be all its worth.
