Another thing you might consider is curing up some bait shimp...they work good too.

keith not sure i agree with the wizard cure being bs.i used it for summer run on the cowlitz and lewis rivers and had some great days.i used it on winter runs last year also and did well.it is not the only cure i use, but i have had good luck with it while fishing with other guys in my boat using other cures for steelhead.when i fish eggs i always take a few cures and it does vary on the type that works best depending on the many different conditions of the rivers on a given day.i am looking forward to trying your cure when its available.scott

Maybe I'm wrong, but it sure has seemed anytime I use anything with nitrate in it the steelhead don't seem to like it as much, and they were winter fish I was fishing for. I'm not trying to say you can't catch a steelhead with nitrates, I'm just saying they don't prefer it.
