TH gets my money, too. They fish with rods they build, so they know what works and what doesn't. Figure on about a 2-week turnaround time.

This is a definate no brainer! My boat is loaded down nicely with custom Loomis and Rainshadow rods built by the masters at www.thcustomrods.com

If your looking for some new Steelhead plug rods ask Travis about the new Rainshadow 961's! A tad heavier than the 9000 and a bit lighter than the 981's. A very nice blend of power and sensitivity!

Does anyone know someone that does rod repair in the Seattle area for a decent price?I snapped the first foot off a rod the first time I used it.It's a cheaper model but I figure it would make a good back-up or loaner! Thanks in advance

Hey, Kalamabama, might you know about how much Rollin' River Custom Rods & Repairs would charge to replace the top guide of a rod? The tip is fine-the ceramic just fell out of the top guide on one of my rods and chipped on another of my rods. Thanks for any info.

Bob D, I read your above post about the rainshadow plug rods built by TH, and I have e-mailed them to inquire about price and other details. Please tell me specifically why you think they are better than other rods on the market for the price. Like all of us here, I want the best rod for my money, but like most of us, I am far from wealthy. I want the best rod at a reasonable price. My personal top end is a Lamiglass, Loomis rods will not fit my budget with a wife and kid and all the other assorted bills. Thanks in advance.
