Has anyone read "The Art of Steelhead Fishing class"? You can find this at the following URL . I have sent them an e-mail to try and find out more information about the book. I know there are many other books out there and I would like some input as to which are your favorites.

I found "Float Fishing for Steelhead techniques & tackle" by Dave Vedder. Very good book. It looks like I will have to order the Bill Herzog books.

If you really are a rookie, you could learn a lot from reading Milt Keizer's Western Steelhead Fishing Guide. It was recommended in an earlier post, also. The book is attractive,informative, and is written by a veteran NW angler/author. Milt wrote for Fishing Holes Magazine and numerous other NW fishing and hunting publications. Here's a tip: Check used books stores and thrift store book stacks for fishing titles. Sometimes you find a real keeper!

I just saw a copy of"Float Fishing for Steelhead techniques & tackle" by Dave Vedder at Half-Price Books across from the Everett Mall. And think it was about half-price. Great book.

And don't forget Half.com . I used to buy stuff at Powell's, but Half is so much cheaper as long as you deal with good people.

I would like to thank everyone who replied. I did end up ginding a few of the listed books and have read them several times. Lots of information to absorb.
