When I run into another angler on a favorite stretch of river, I'm likely to comment on how slow it's been. "I hear they're catching a lot of 'em at Reiter," I say. "Maybe it's a bit early (or late) yet here."

or

"Gosh, it sure has been slow."

or

"Where'd they all go? They were all over last week."

or

"Guess I should have driven down south."

or

"Haven't heard of many being caught yet this year."

But then, I don't make money by keeping other people fishing...

FFF,

My favorite spot is just upstream from the log pile and downstream from the tree. Really. :-)

If I leave now, I'll be there in twnety minutes. Better get moving.

Silver, glad to hear your original post was in jest, that's exactly how I took it. Hard to joke on this subject via the net.

Hey, I like a spot between the logjam and a tree also. Strangely enough it's within 20 mins of Bellevue. Unfortunately the Cedar is closed.

Silver H, now i know exactally where your favorite hole is on the Green er i mean the Sky,wait, it's in one of those "other" rivers isn't it? You'll have to show me. No wait, i forgot, you'll have to let me feel it cuz i have real bad eyesight. Ever fished by brail? Use the force Luke, and feel your way through the snags. I think i just asked you to let me feel your favorite hole...that's not a good thing. Being inside sick all week really exacts a toll. I need to wet my leader bad.
cool

The worms are from Vision, Yamaguchi, and Berkley. A little of everything. They were not used, though. Just some rags, winners, and yorkies.

Note To Self: The Bait Dude doesn't restock the Forks supply of Sand Shrimp until Thursday. NEVER EVER open up a container of sand shrimp on a Wednesday morning. The smell alone damn near killed me!

FFF, I'll be happy to take you to the spot. First, we blinfold you, then we drive aimlessly for 3 hours, then you have to fish by sound and touch. Really, I'll tell you when the bobber goes down.

Man, anybody that thinks I am going to be absolutely honest with all my information, well, let's just say I have some land you might be interested in. Some things are better left un-said. I have a few spots that I don't even talk about in public and will only fish them with one or two people. If you see me clening, filleting or smoking a fish from one of these spots and you ask me where I caught it I will avoid the question, if you press for an answer I will lie, pure and simple. So be forwarned........
