Hey people! Stop all the whinning.. This has been the best year for fishing in a long time here in Washington. I"ve been fishing here since 1974 and
this year sort-a reminds me of the good old days.
I even had to buy an extra freezer. I released as
many fish as I kept to. One thing for sure, there
are way more people fishing now than in 1974. Let
the hatcheries keep producing so that I can keep-a
smoking. I think that Science should have the answer for CNR wild fish. Let have them recommend
what is needed in order to alllow us all to have
uninterupted fishing in the years to come. Thank
you "Fish Gods" for a wonderful year.

Salud, fantastic year from kings to pinkies to coho to a couple of chums. I havent caught this many fish in along time. It was great to see the sound so alive. I can only hope this winter sees a few to hand also. Good luck all

Agree.... Good year to be on the water. Most popular fishways were pretty crowded but there was more than enough to go around. This year also shows that we can have both good hatchery runs and native runs.

Plus, the year isnt even over yet. Heck, there are stil coho milling around in most rivers. Maybe we'll have good runs of hatchery winter fish all the way through february??
