I want to come down to fish the Sky for a couple of days, I've never fished it. I have a jet boat. Any suggestions, what's working, where to fish? Place to hook up our motor home?

There is a very nice RV park on Ben Howard road. This is a back road between Monroe and Sultan which is parallel to HWY 2 but on the other side of the river.

There are boat launches on Ben Howard road, Monroe (Under Hwy 203 bridge), and Sultan (Under Sultan river bridge).

Not to discourage you from visiting these lovely towns but lock your car doors and hide your valuables just in case. There has been some break ins lately.

This should give you enough ammo for now.

G, THere is a good RV park on the Ben Howard Road. Its roughly 5 miles outside Monroe...Cant miss it. THey even have a pool out there(no motors allowed). Just kidding, have a good one. Hope we get some more rain and you'll get your fish... =)

The lewis street (hwy 203) ramp should be fine for your motor home. The ben howard launch at low water might be tough. The Sultan ramp is not for you.

Be aware that there is a fishing from a floating device restriction near the lewis street ramp. Check your regs before you fish.

Are you coming to visit or moving in? I am trying to picture these boat launches with a 34' motorhome plus 18' jet plus trailer. I think the boat launch under Hwy 203 bridge may have enough room. The one under sultan bridge seems to have a tight turn and Ben Howard might be tight also. I am very bad in backing up with trailers so hopefully some one else may give you better info. Don't rely completely on my info. Call one of the local tackle shops.
