hey super, I didn't see any specials on the specials page. was there some or will there be some? also, what's so magnificent about your guy's rubber worms? are they hand poured? salted? they look awful long to me on that hook and running up the line, you do recommend cutting them at least in half don't you? say, i can get a couple more worms in the store's package of power worms, etc and they cost a little wink less than your worms. they catch fish too! laugh not trying to start anything, just wondering why you think your worms are so much more special?

When you click on the specials link a couple more links pop up on the box on the left. They made them hard to find so that only the schmart ones would get the good deals.

As for the worms,I'd like to see YOU force-feed a rubber worm one of those hooks and have it come out of their buttholes like that. It's not easy!

Krome,

A small fraction of what Vision sells is on the site. With so many products, it's hard to keep an organized site, yet offer that complete ease-of-use navigation. I appreciate any and all comments on the site, as I'm sure they'll be some revisions.

Follow what DJ said.

The Vision worms are all pre-tied and come in either 4" or a 6" worm.

Not too sure what you mean when you say they look "awfully" long. Go up to the Sauk river and toss out that 6" worm. Ol' Ike doesn't seem to have a problem with them! wink

Krome - I think the difference is that these worms are pre-threaded on the hook/leader and ready for drift/float fishing.

I've heard of lots of folks rigging 4 to 6 inch worms this way with success. Most do chop them down when sticking them on a jig though.

I'm just wondering what type and poundage those leaders are?

Careful what you ask for parker. Out of boredom I sent a bunch of suggestions/flames to Scrog just today about the site, thinking he had done it. Just keep that in mind as you read them, as we bust on each other like WWF only without the collapsing tables.

Boy am I stupid. Thanks DJ. wink BTW, I have become quite experienced over the years at force feeding worms. By practicing with real ones while trout fishing. eek laugh

Parker and PhishPhreak, the fish up here seem to make a beeline back to the ocean if a worm longer than 3 inches gets in their path. In other words, it spooks them. That's been my experience anyway. Tried the longest worm I could find a few weeks ago-maybe 5 inches long(a bass worm) and had a fish swirl at the end of my drift, so I thought sweet, one more cast and I'll get 'im. Well, one more cast and that fish leaped out of the water swam downstream aways, then leaped again. This continued until the fish was out of sight, downstream a couple hundred yards, past a bend in the river. It wasn't a previously hooked fish because no one had even hooked any fish yet that morning. Your fish up there must be different.

Yep. Working on the "real" site and will soon have it all stamped out. We ran into host problems which caused a slow-down, then old code wouldn't work out right with the new folks, but y'all are going to be pleased.

Just be patient with us as there's a couple areas we are working on.

Hey Dave, you should see the nice gash on the side of my "fanger" when I threaded a worm on a couple days ago. Hell yeah, they're sharp. I've got some bass hook samples if anyone is interested, shoot me an email at my personal account or shoot it to one of the Vision accounts and we'll get you "hooked up".

Another quick note about our worms and what makes them so special. I have found the durability of the Vision worm lets you fish it until you either break off or hook a real angry fish yet soft enough to provide ideal action. With many other worms a good hard hookset will tear the worm. The 4" will fish great in super clear flows, try the softer colors such as baby pink light or light gum. A small black cheater rigged backwards for contrast and your ready to rip lips! laugh laugh laugh

Huh, yeah I've noticed the worms I started using weren't all that flexible and it seemed like they slipped down on the hook everytime I'd get snagged (but get off). May just have to order some...sometime. cool
