What a year this is turning out to be, Already me and my fishing buddies have boated alot of fish and two overly large nates that where taped and slid back to the depths, And now followed up by a hatchery beast. Just think with the returns and watching the humppy and record shattered and the monster silvers that returned. I think one of you dedicated anglers is going to touch what would be the state record this year. But if it's me I will Have a picture and a memory of him finning off to the depths..... Nice fish! Great job! Too bad the picture wasn't taken during daylight. You should get that stuffed and mounted.

WOW, What a big hatchery fish. I got the perfect spot all cleared and picked out for a mounter....to bad I never get anything over about 16 lbs.
I carry a waterproof disposable camera in the back of my vest all the time. Always comes in handy, and even get the occasional underwater shot too...

Why are you showing off last years fish????? Let's see something caught *this* year! Haven't really seen a "hog" yet this year. It's early though....

What do you know that we don't? Was there a design change between last year and this year that shows this fish to me a 2000 model year?

No Dave, That's a 2001 model i believe. Now that it's 2002 that would be last years model.

Yarh'em,

Was that you fishing the Nooch two weekends ago? Fishing bobber/jig & worm in a aluminum DB? Pulled out at Wishkah bridge?

D'oh! Between the calendar year changing and the auto industry liking to release model years months in advance of the calendar year it totally throws me off.

If that fish was turned just a bit more I would have seen the grill and could tell what model year it was. Try to keep that in mind next time you photo your fish. wink

Heh. I saw that photo around a year ago. Was just curious as to why it was being posted now.

Good motivational photo, though. Who knows, maybe another brat hog is lurking in the Nooch again this year! Oh, oops. Now I've gone and done it! Don't think I was suppose to mention the river name! D'oh!

And yes it may have been me you saw at the bridge that day, I fished it Sat, Sun, Mon, and tues put in higher then most and pulled out at the crossover. Plain Willie and I where the same sweat shirt all the time or a tan Orvis rain coat.... Have a good one laugh laugh

Then those fish would be one in the same? The photo I received about a year ago is the one at the top of the post. I've never seen the photo in the gallery you just posted. They look to be the same fish.

Eh, I'm all confused now. Either way, nice fish!
