I like their first reason for the rule change "Reason for action: Crab that are molting have soft shells and are subject to higher mortality rates from handling, as well as cannibalism while trapped in pots. ". Not much Q/C?

Oh boy, springer season, it's got me excited already. But the sad part is them darn nets will be hitting the river with the surplus of fish and guess what else they'll be getting... Our March/April native steelhead in the Lower Columbia system. frown And they wonder why our native population sucks...

Actually, It has been open since august. But, now you must release non-adipose clipped chinook. Oregon published this in they're 2002 synopsis, but because Wash. doesn't publish they'res till march, they issued this release.

It doesn't get going good till march. Some early willamette fish in late Feb.
