If anyone has any recommendations on good guides in Cabo I'd appreciate the info. I went to Ixtapa last year and was a bit disastisfied. Thanks for the help,

I fished in cabo a couple yrs back I can't remember the name of the charter service but the boat was called the PELEADOR 1 we fished for marlin that day we raised 3 marlin no hookups but awesome to see them attack the baits we did catch a 130lb yellowfin tuna that took 3hrs to land on 30lb test gear and several 15-30lb dorado our trip was cut short by 3 hrs because of really rough seas, waves breaking over the bow of a 30 plus ft boat the captain and crew were great knowledgeable and professional. my uncle swears by the solmar fleet he has caught many marlin and sailfish with them. good luck!

Hey, my uncle travels to Cabo all the time, I'll contact him and then post here. BTW, when are you going to Cabo?

Got a couple for you "Minerva's Baja Tackle" will hook you up with the hottest boat's & skippers but you will pay, you can email them for rates or look them up on the web. Nice older guy (70's) and his son "Barracuda 1" Cap. Victor Nunez O. It's a really big panga 24' his son is Victor, speaks great english and works hard. Got me into a 40+ wahoo and a nice roosterfish, they will fish any way you want. Got a good deal with them, just go down to the docks at dawn and start deal'in. FYI lot's of boats that are ready to rip, don't go out you can deal. Wait to get your beer till your on the boat it will save you .50 per. HAVE FUN!!! laugh

Keith, a former Oregon City part-time salmon/steelhead/sturgeon guide and friend Paul Southworth moved to Cabo several years ago to join in a partnership offshore fishing guide service. They know their stuff; and Paul is fun to fish with. I've lost contact and his old numbers. If you happen into his guide biz, tell him hello from me - and that I said 'give em a discount Pablo'. wink - Steve

For something different try flyfishing inshore with Baja Anglers. I had non stop action on mostly 5-10lb sierra that are into the backing on a 10wt so fast you can't believe it. Also caught 1 rooster and a few jacks. Alot more fun than trolling all day...I'm going back.

Victor on the Gracilieta in the Garza fleet. I will find the fax number for you. He is 14 yr out of that port and 9 yrs on that boat. He is knowledgable and works very hard. Just got back last Monday.
