I was fishing the Lewis ( luckily an area w/ out alot of people) I was fishing spinners with 12# TEST . MY SPINNER GOT LODGED IN A SUNKEN LOG. I PULLED, HOPING THE LINE WOULD SNAP. IT DIDNT, BUT THE SPINNER CAME SHOOTING STRAIGHT INTO MY UPPER THIGH. I PULLED MY PANTS DOWN AND HAD MY WIFE COME TO HELP ME. PAIN, WAS BADDD! I WAS CRACKING UP LAUGHING, HERE I WAS STANDING WITH MY PANTS PULLED PARTLY DOWN. MY WIFE IS PATIENTLY REMOVING THE HOOK.( ON HER KNEES) SOMEONE WALKING BY WOULD HAVE THOUGHT I WAS GETTING A BJ OR SOMETHING. FINALLY GOT THE DAMN THING OUT AFTER CUTTING THE SHANK AND FORCING THE PPOINT BACK THROUGH THE SKIN, THAT WAS A HELL OF A BARB.
