I've posted a few tonight and all while I was trying a beer called Moose Drool which is from Missoula but bottled in Portland. While my posts might not be so good this beer is pretty good. It was a Christmas gift along with Dan Baily breathables and L. L. Bean wading boots. The combo of all three makes me feel like I can do no wrong.....LOL.

I work for Anheuser-Busch and have seen pretty much every beer available in the market. That Moose Drool doesnt sound very tasty and the package looks even worse!! Redhook has a a nice brew called Chinook Copper Ale. Its delicious and has a GOOD name Happy?

Skamania Lodge has Moose Drool on draft, and it is D licious -- especially after a grueling hike in the Wind River canyon with a limit of springers in the backpack during May.

I went snowmobiling in West Yellowstone MT 3 years ago with one of my roomates from college who moved there just to be a flyfish bum. This stuff was the original bust head made in Montana Moose Drool. Awsome. I have never seen it in the bottle three years ago it only camein the keg. Thanks for the memory.

My wife's cousin used to bring gallon jugs of this stuff from Missoula to a family reunion every year, before they started to bottle it. Great stuff!

Shhhh! Steelhd that is one of my favorite Zipper Lip Beers. The only way Moose Drool gets any better is on tap! By the way the Hoodsport Tavern at the Lake Chushman cut-off has Moose Drool on tap. Yum! Goes good with one of their hamburgers!

Hey Jett-in' Fool, if you work for Anheuser-Busch why can't you spell it correctly?

Preston, it's sort of like spelling Jett'in as Jett-in'. Ya think? Or maybe a little to much of his work?

Moose Drool is just one of many great micro-brews out there now. Back when I was a nappy-headed little boy in the early eighties, I had to go to a English pub in Santa Monica to get some good beer on tap or someplace called "Alpine Village" to get some good bottled German beer like Optimator. Now it seems like any small town's cafe has at least one micro on tap...well, excluding S.E. Idaho. Just the other night I had one call "1554" from New Belgian Brewing that was great. Of course a listing of favorite beers would require a whole new thread. Cheers.
