Any decent reports or just a few hours out watching the clouds roll by.

do both. fish won't go anywhere. Cloudy and higher water, no need to get up that early.

Floated the Sky on Tuesday from Sultan to Ben Howard. Never had a bite and only know of one that was caught.

Always go fishing if you can. There may not be alot of fish around, but there are always a few, and starting now you might get that big one. I personally like it with the water levels down. It reduces the places a fish can hang. I will be out there Sunday, but home by kickoff.

I am 100% with you about the low water conditions and the reduction of the amount of places a fish can hide. Best steelhead time of year is August. Fishing in shorts, t-shirt and chrome steelhead at the end of my line.

I did fish for awhile this morning at a few places around monroe. Real slow didn't see or hear of any. I did hook a 16inch cutt on a pink aroflie and prawn tail though. maybe tomorow before the game! Jeff

Was up in the area of the Sky today, not actually on the Sky but close. Anyway didn't find any steelies but did hook and release three very nice dollies. These are truly beautiful fish and they were all nice sized too, around 3-4lbs ea. Not much of a battle on my 9wt though, but I did enjoy it. I can tell you one thing about dollies the last four I've caught all loved olive wooly-buggers! then again so did the 9lb Steelie I got last month.

I'm really turning into a fly guy, not a snob or anything, just love it! you know what? fishing with a fly is almost like jig fishing only without the float. I bet a lot of fly guys will have a cow over that observation. cool

Papa fish. Do you use floating or a sink tip line. I'm trying to drag my butt out there but don't want to look like a fool when I try to cast. I love to fly fish in the summer, but never tried it in the winter. I have an 8wt. I notice that you fish the Snoqualmie a lot. Do you do it from a boat or the bank. Jim S. laugh
